What the Contract Covers

Each snowfall of 5 cm or more triggers a visit without a call from you. The visit covers the driveway, the turnaround, the path to your front door and a return pass for the windrow after the road plow goes by. Stakes go in before the first snow.

The contract has no visit cap and no centimetre cap. You get a text with a photo after every visit, and the visit log is yours to ask for at any point in the season.

Parking Rules That Shape Your Season

The Township's winter parking rules ban parking on Township roads from December 1 to April 1 between 2 am and noon, and a separate traffic by-law bans parking that gets in the way of plowing from October 15 to April 30. Vehicles can be ticketed or towed.

That puts every car in the driveway overnight. At the site visit we plan the parking pads and a pass around parked cars, so a full driveway still gets cleared.

Payment, Cancelling and What Sets the Price

You pay half when you sign and half on January 15. You can cancel with 30 days' written notice and we refund the unused months.

  • When does the season start and end?

    November 15 to April 1. A storm before or after those dates is covered at the per-visit rate written into your contract.

  • Is there a limit on visits or centimetres?

    No. Every snowfall at or over 5 cm gets a visit, however many the winter brings.

  • What happens during a Significant Weather Event?

    The Township declared three between February 2024 and December 2025. We keep plowing through them and text you if road conditions push your visit later.

  • Can I sign up after the season starts?

    Yes, if your property sits on a route we already run. We pro-rate the price by the month.
