Snow Removal in Horseshoe Valley, Shanty Bay and Across Oro-Medonte

Where Our Routes Run

We clear driveways, windrows and private roads for homeowners and cottage owners in every part of Oro-Medonte, on routes built so the crew works one area at a time. Find your hamlet below, then call for a site visit and a written quote.

Shanty Bay and the Lake Simcoe Shore

Shanty Bay, Carthew Bay and the shoreline roads to Hawkestone hold a mix of year-round homes and cottages, many on private roads. We plow shared lanes for road associations, clear driveways off Ridge Road and the Line roads, and send photos to owners who winter elsewhere.

Hawkestone

Hawkestone sits on the lake side of the township with driveways that drop toward the water. Sloped drives here get sand on the hill and the lane mouth, and cottage lanes get a photo after each visit.

Horseshoe Valley and Sugarbush

Horseshoe Valley and Sugarbush have paved drives on subdivision streets and steep grades near the ski hills. Squall snow off Georgian Bay piles up fast here, so the return pass after the road plow matters most on these routes.

Moonstone and Warminster

Moonstone and Warminster sit in the north end of the township, close to Coldwater, which recorded 539 cm in the 2025 to 2026 winter. Long rural lanes and farm properties make up most of these routes.

Oro Station, Edgar, Rugby and Craighurst

The central and western hamlets have long gravel lanes off the Line roads and the County roads. We stake the edges and culverts in the fall and plow to the width you mark.

Guthrie, Prices Corners, Jarratt and Coulson

These hamlets and the farm roads around them carry commuters headed for Highway 11 and Highway 400. Tell us your departure time and we build the route around it.
